Admission Overview
Nepal Business College welcomes applications from motivated students who are ready to invest in their futures. Our admission process is straightforward, transparent, and designed to identify candidates who will thrive in our academic environment. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until seats are filled.
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum academic requirements vary by programme:
- BBA — Completed +2 (Grade XI & XII) or equivalent in any stream with at least a Second Division (45% or above) from a recognised board.
- BIT — Completed +2 in Science or Management with at least a Second Division. Basic computer literacy is expected.
- MBA — Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline from a recognised university with at least a Second Division. Working professionals are encouraged to apply.
- BHM — Completed +2 in any stream with at least a Second Division. A passion for hospitality and service is essential.
Application Process
Follow these steps to complete your application:
- Step 1 — Collect the application form from the NBC Admissions Office (Thapathali, Kathmandu) or download it from this website.
- Step 2 — Fill in the application form completely and accurately. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
- Step 3 — Attach all required documents (see list below) and submit the form to the Admissions Office along with the application fee.
- Step 4 — Attend the entrance interview on the date communicated to you by the Admissions Office.
- Step 5 — Receive your admission confirmation letter and complete the enrolment process by paying the semester fee within the deadline.
Required Documents
Please bring originals and submit photocopies of the following:
- Completed NBC Application Form
- Academic transcripts and certificates (SLC/SEE, +2 / Bachelor's, as applicable)
- Character certificate from your last institution
- Citizenship certificate or birth certificate
- Passport-size photographs (4 copies)
- Migration certificate (if from outside Bagmati Province)
- Work experience letter (for MBA applicants with professional experience)
Key Admission Dates
Applications are accepted year-round, but seats are limited. We recommend applying early. Typical admission windows are:
- Spring Intake — Applications open in December; classes begin in February.
- Autumn Intake — Applications open in June; classes begin in August.
