Full Scholarship
NBC offers a limited number of full tuition fee scholarships to exceptionally deserving students. This scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees for the entire duration of the programme and is awarded through a competitive two-stage selection process.
Selection Process
The full scholarship is awarded in two stages:
- Stage 1 — Scholarship Entrance Examination: Candidates must sit for NBC's written scholarship exam, which tests aptitude, logical reasoning, English proficiency, and general business awareness. Only candidates who clear the minimum qualifying score proceed to Stage 2.
- Stage 2 — Interview Round: Shortlisted candidates appear before an interview panel comprising senior faculty and management. The panel assesses communication skills, motivation, leadership potential, and fit with NBC's values.
- Final Selection: Scholarship recipients are selected based on combined performance across both stages. Results are announced within two weeks of the interview.
Eligibility
- Must meet the standard programme eligibility criteria (see How to Apply).
- Demonstrated financial need — a family income certificate may be required.
- Excellent academic record in previous studies.
- No existing scholarship or fee waiver from any other institution.
Conditions of Continuity
- Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 each semester to retain the scholarship.
- The scholarship is reviewed every semester. Failure to meet the GPA threshold results in suspension until the student's academic standing improves.
- Misconduct or disciplinary action may result in immediate cancellation.
Semester Merit Scholarship
At the end of every semester, NBC recognises the top three academic performers in each programme with a partial tuition fee waiver applied to the following semester. This scholarship is awarded automatically — no application is required.
| Rank | Scholarship | Tuition Fee Waiver | Criteria |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | Gold Merit Scholarship | 50% | Highest GPA in the semester among all students of the programme |
| 2nd | Silver Merit Scholarship | 30% | Second highest GPA in the semester among all students of the programme |
| 3rd | Bronze Merit Scholarship | 20% | Third highest GPA in the semester among all students of the programme |
How It Works
- Rankings are calculated at the end of each semester based on final GPA results.
- The top three students in each programme (BBA, BIT, MBA, BHM) receive the scholarship independently — rankings do not cross programmes.
- The waiver is applied directly to the next semester's tuition invoice. No cash payment is made.
- Students who achieve a top-three rank consistently can retain a scholarship every semester throughout their studies.
- In the event of a GPA tie, the student with the higher credit-weighted score is ranked higher.
How to Apply for the Full Scholarship
The full scholarship application is separate from the regular admissions application. Follow these steps:

- Submit the completed form along with academic transcripts, a family income certificate, and a personal statement (500 words) explaining your goals and financial situation.
- Await confirmation of your examination date. The written exam is held at NBC's main campus.
- If shortlisted, attend the interview on the scheduled date.
- Results will be communicated directly to successful applicants.
